Evolve as a center of excellence in the field of Electronics and Communication

Mission of the Department

1. Empowering students to achieve high standards of education in order to meet the 

    growing challenges of the industry 

2. Instill a sense of cooperative work attitude and social responsibility among the

    students 

3. Provide value based education to build up overall professional personality of the 

    students to embrace engineering as a culture of service to humanity


Program Educational Objectives


    1. Instigate the students to achieve professional engineering competence and to work in multidisciplinary                    groups. 

    2. Promote awareness among the students to engage in life-long learning and to remain conversant in their                profession as well as leaders of the technological society 

    3. Inspire the students to recognize and incorporate societal needs and constraints in their professional                         endeavours with high regard to ethical responsibilities


Program Outcomes


    
The students possess the abilities to

    a.    Ability to understand and apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering concepts in solving 

           complex Electronics and Communication Engineering problems.



    b.   Ability to design and conduct experiments to analyze complex engineering problems and provide valid 

           conclusions from the results obtained.



    c.    Ability to design a component, a system or process to meet the specific needs within the realistic constraints

           such as economic, environmental, ethical, social, health, safety, sustainability and manufacturability.



    d.   Ability to think strategically while investigating and solving complex problems in Electronics and 

          Communication Engineering. 



    e.    Ability to select and apply appropriate techniques for the design and analysis of systems using modern 

           software tools. 



    f.     Ability to offer engineering solutions to societal problems.


    g.    Ability to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal

           context.



    h.    Ability to understand the professional and ethical responsibilities of an engineer. 



    i.     Ability to function productively either as a member or a leader in multi-disciplinary or multi-cultural 

            teams.



    j.     Ability to communicate effectively and participate collaboratively in interactions with engineers and other 

            professionals.
